Description
Charles Bridge in Prague. This drawing was a gift for a very good friend who had a love affair with this romantic and beautiful city - hello to all my Czech friends!
This drawing was done at a time when I was having my own personal love affair with woodcut prints. I hadn't ever had the opportunity to do a woodcut print so I decided to draw something similar in style instead.

Oh, beautifully done! I've looked at a great deal of your traditional work.. like me, you're all over the board, as to style and medium. I can relate to that, and respect it.
This piece I like because it presents all the clarity of information one finds in a photograph, but it is most definitely NOT a reproduction of a photo. You've made it much more than its reference. That takes skill...and patience.
..plus, I have an obsessive little fascination with pen and ink. I haven't mastered it, but I admire those who have.
