Peter Pan strikes again!!
Recently a friend and I set up a web design company whose name is inspired by the Peter Pan mythos. I had just completed the design and illustrations for a book to accompany a new mini series (for SKY) called Neverland about Peter Pan. So when we decided to set up the web design company Peter and his related story was very much in my head and his influence spilled out.
I think the website for a web design company should have a little touch of magic about it and this web banner with it's animated & interactive elements does exactly that.
2nd Star Media [link] has a company ethic which is to create and design stylish but simple websites. Websites can often be overly complex and designers and web builders can forget that a website serves a purpose and that purpose should be at the heart of each design.
Hopefully our site reflects this ethos.
Time: 4 days (1 day for the illustration, 2 days to code the flash and animate)
