Description
This is a logo for Yorkshire based media company CanDu.
Because Candu is not an actual word, finding a way to represent it in icon or pictorial form was tricky.
I thought about what the sense of the word means... that things can be possible with Candu media and so I settled on the idea of using a Tick... as in Candu "ticks' the right boxes.
I used the N to create a space in which the tick can be inserted into the name. The effect is elegant and authoritative.
I also put the 'Can' in italics to help emphasize the phrase "can du" - it also gives the word a sense of movement making it feel dynamic.
